AE1. Implement and institutionalize practices that increase academic performance, retention, and completion.

Fully develop at least half of the guided pathways identified with the areas of study (curriculum maps, entry process, wrap-around support services, and exit pathways).

Develop a comprehensive, pathways-focused advising model inclusive of advising services, career clarity, and faculty role 1) guides students to make informed choices, 2) strengthens clarity about transfer and career opportunities at the end of each college path, 3) confirms development of an academic plan with predicatble schedules, 4) regularly reviews student progress, and 5) intervenes when students go off track.

Evaluate student placement for writing and math, including the process and begin implementing changes based on that evaluation.

Reform Precollege math curriculum/courses that will decrease the length of time to complete, align with programs of study, and increase course success.
