Campus Climate Assessment

Campus Climate Assessment Background

In April 2022, Clark College administered a campus climate survey. The survey is in keeping with the college's mission to cultivate an inclusive, equitable, and vibrant community. In March 2024, Clark College organized Listening Sessions with staff, students, and faculty to provide an opportunity for community members to give feedback on diversity, equity, and inclusion at the college.

Both assessments keep the college in compliance with the Revised Code of Washington. RCW 28B.10.147

The college will administer an equity-centric campus climate survey every two years through a collaboration between the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) and the Office of Assessment and Institutional Research (AIR). The college will also conduct annual listening and feedback sessions for diversity, equity, and inclusion for the entire campus community during periods between campus climate assessments.

Campus Climate Assessment Results

Clark College has selected the HEDS Diversity and Equity Campus Climate Survey to evaluate student and employee attitudes and awareness of campus diversity, equity, and inclusion.
