Apply for Financial Aid Today

Steps to Apply for Financial Aid

Step 1: Apply for Admission to Clark College

To apply to Clark College, visit the Apply to Clark page.

Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid

Students begin the annual application process by completing either the:

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), OR

Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA)

The 2025-2026 FAFSA and WASFA applications are now available for the upcoming academic year that begins July 1, 2025.

Completing the FAFSA or WASFA is the first step of the application process. You do not need to complete both applications. If you are unsure which application to complete, complete the WASFA Questionnaire.

To receive financial aid for Spring 2025, please complete the 2024-2025
       FAFSA/WASFA application.

Your FAFSA/WASFA will be electronically sent to the school 5-7 business days
after you complete the application. Be sure to include Clark College School
Code on your application, School Code: 003773.

After your application has been received, you will receive ctcLink
notifications from the Financial Aid office with your next steps.

Processing typically takes 3-5 weeks after all required documentation has
been submitted to the Financial Aid office. Frequently check your ctcLink
Student Home Page and your To-Do lists for additional information.

You will need to submit a new FAFSA/WASFA application each year to
       continue receiving financial aid.

Step 3: Check Your Financial Aid Application Status in ctcLink

Log in to your ctcLink and review the Financial Aid tile, Message Center, and To-Do lists for updates on the status of your application.

Promptly respond to any financial aid requests. If additional information is
requested, you will be notified via your preferred e-mail account, and it will
be posted to your ctcLink Student Homepage. Requested documents can be
submitted through the Secure Form Upload.

Step 4: Receive Your Financial Aid

All financial aid awards are automatically used to pay your tuition and fees. If your award exceeds the cost of your tuition, you will receive the remaining balance of your funds through the refund preference you select with BankMobile Disbursements.

You will receive a mailer and email notifications from BankMobile when your account is ready to set up. For more information about BankMobile Disbursements, visit this link: http://bankmobiledisbursements.com/how-it-works/.

If your financial aid award is not sufficient to pay the tuition and fees in full, you are responsible for payment of the remaining balance.

Step 5: Manage Your Financial Aid

To remain eligible to receive financial aid, you must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Failure to do so will result in a loss and/or repayment of aid. Please review the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy and familiarize yourself with what is required for you to keep in good standing with financial aid each term.

Priority Processing Dates

Priority Processing Dates are the recommended dates to have your application and all documents completed and submitted to the Financial Aid Office. If you meet the priority processing deadline and registered for classes, the Financial Aid Office will process your file and produce an award eligibility notification before the start of the term.
