THE HEALTHY PENGUIN NATION With a focus on health, Clark College will welcome the community VANCOUVER, Wash. — Blending its wellness initiative with its commitment to service learning, Clark College will host a Community Health Fair on Wednesday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Community Health Fair is a part of “Spring into Action!” – a series of three college-wide service events this spring at Clark College. Visitors will learn about health, wellness and fitness options in Clark County. They will be able to take part in fitness demonstrations and health screenings. They’ll also receive information about local health-related resources. Clark College Service-Learning and Volunteer Program Manager Jody Shulnak said, “With support from Community Choices, which promotes a healthy, livable Clark County, and the Washington State Department of Health, the Community Health Fair will offer engaging programs and important information for members of our entire community.” Events highlights will include: Gaiser Student Center: Penguin Student Lounge: Penguin Union Building Rooms 258 A, B & C: For additional information, contact Clark College Service-Learning and Volunteer Program Manager Jody Shulnak. -30- |
