HISTORY BY THE BOOK "Voices and Dreams: Celebrating Clark College’s Diamond Anniversary"
Produced by the college’s department of Communications and Marketing, the book was made possible by a gift from an anonymous donor through the Clark College Foundation. With beautiful photos and vibrant text, the book takes readers through each decade at Clark College through the voices of alumni, faculty, staff, administrators, and supporters. Alumni interviewed for the book include former State Senator Al Bauer, Daily Insider editor Tony Bacon, Vancouver City Council member Jeanne Harris and many more. Faculty, staff and administrators interviewed include past interim president Ellis F. Dunn, faculty emeritus Dr. Antonio Scarpelli, and Clark sports legend Claude “Skeet” O’Connell. In honor of the college’s 75th anniversary, the book is available in the Clark College Bookstore for $7.50. Proceeds from the book benefit the Clark College Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. To contact the bookstore, call 360-992-2149 or visit their Web site.
